Dawson High School Coach Richard Sessums said Monday the rest of the Dragons’ high school football season has been cancelled.“We just don’t have enough healthy kids to finish out our season,” Sessums said.“More than anything, I hate it for our kids after knowing how much work they put into this.”Although the Dragons are finished playing high school football this season they’ll continue their junior high schedule with a game on Thursday evening at Hart.“We’ve only got sixth and seventh graders playing on our junior high team but there’s 12 of them, which speaks good for the future,” Sessums said.
