When the Golden Tors’ freshmen football team got thumped 30-0 in its season opener by San Angelo Lake View it must have been a wake-up call.In the past two weeks, Lamesa’s freshmen have outscored their opponents, 74-28. Their latest victory was a 46-14 win over Class 2A Lockney’s JV on Thursday.Although Lockney scored the game’s first TD, the Golden Tors scored seven out of the last eight.
