After Corey Savage turned in his resignation out at Welch earlier this week the Dawson Dragons will kick off this high school football season next week with a new head coach for the third year in a row.“My wife had surgery back on July 25 and it’s been a slow recovery so we just felt like the best thing we could do for our family is stay at home especially with our two year old daughter,” Savage said.Dawson’s assistant coach, Richard Sessums, now finds himself as the Dragons’ new head football coach.
