After heading the Golden Tors’ baseball program for four seasons and making the playoffs twice, Bobby Alvarez took an assistant’s job at Class 4A Greenwood a year ago to get closer to home.Alvarez and his wife Josie have lived in the Midland area for 30 years.The Golden Tors’ former skipper is now getting the best of both worlds.
