It will be a three day weekend for governmental office staff, postal workers, school officials and banking employees. Those facilities will be closed Monday in recognition of Memorial Day.The post office will resume deliveries Tuesday.City Hall, the county courthouse and federal offices are also closed for the holiday.The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce and all areas banks also are closed Monday.The Dawson County Public Library will be closed on Memorial Day.The school year ended, but some school staff continue working through the summer.
