Burning trash barrel blamed for igniting area grass fireSEMINOLE – Temperatures over 100 degrees, a fallen burning trash barrel, and strong winds were responsible for a grass fire located six miles east of Seminole Hwy. 180E Thursday afternoon. Firefighters tended to the blaze with an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) vehicle on standby.The week of May 16-20 was a hectic one for the Seminole Volunteer Fire Department.
