Gloria Enriquez

    A Catholic funeral mass will be celebrated for Gloria Enriquez, age 72, of Lubbock, TX., at 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 23, 2022 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father Chacko Thadathil officiating. 
    Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. 
    Viewing will be held on Sunday, May  22, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Rosary prayer service staring at 7:00 p.m.
    Gloria passed away on Friday, May 13, 2022 in Lubbock, TX. 
    She was born on January 7, 1950 in Lamesa, TX. 
    She was preceded in death by her husband, Donicio Garcia; her son, Albert Garcia; and her parents. 
    Gloria worked at Gristy’s Dry Cleaners in Lubbock for many years. She enjoyed watching scary movies, spending time with her family and friends.
    Gloria is survived by her daughters, Angela Cuellar and son-in-law Carlos Cuellar of Lubbock, TX., Beatrice Garcia of Kansas, Christine Echavarria and son-in-law Raul Echavarria, Sr., Diana Garcia, Rachel Montoya, and Rosalinda Sanchez, all of Lamesa, TX.; her sons, Ben Garcia of Lubbock, TX., and Rodrigo Sanchez of Lamesa, TX.; her brothers, Raul Enriquez, and Ruben Enriquez, both of Lamesa,Texas; 26 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; numerous relatives and friends.
