Glenda Clanton

    Memorial service for Glenda Ruth Clanton, 74, of Lamesa will be held Saturday, May 28, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Lamesa.  
    Glenda passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 in Lamesa, Texas.  
    She was born December 26, 1947, to Glen Wilson Gooch  and Betty Ruth (Koonce) Gooch. She was a teacher for many years and was very passionate about her job.  She retired after many years of teaching.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church. Glenda will be greatly missed.
    Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Jack Clanton III and wife, Tracey of San Angelo; grandchildren, Missouri Clanton, Montana Clanton, Noah Clanton and Cole Henry; great grandchildren, Scarlet Clanton, Layton Clanton and Avrey Henry; sister, Shirley Gooch; and brother, Tommy Gooch.  
    She is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert Turner.
