When Medical Arts Hospital (MAH) ceased performing surgeries five years ago, its surgical equipment and machines were put away in case the operating room reopened someday.That has never happened.The hospital halted conducting surgeries and delivering infants in 2017 due to the high cost of equipment maintenance and having surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses on call 24/7.
