Ricky Faulkenberry

    Private service for Ricky Forrest Faulkenberry, 69, of Lamesa will be held at a later time. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
    Ricky passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, in Lubbock, Texas. 
    He was born February 9, 1953, in Lamesa to Forrest and Geralene (Jackson) Faulkenberry.  He graduated from Lamesa High School in the 70’s and from Howard College.  Ricky worked at the Lubbock State School during the 70’s.  He later worked and retired from Texas Tech University.  He enjoyed collecting coins and rocks. He also studied religion and loved horticulture.
    Ricky is survived by his sister, Pam Vogler of Lamesa; nieces Davina Carter and Jeralyn Schwartz; nephew, Andrew Griffith; and numerous great nieces and nephews. 
    He is preceded in death by his parents.
