Hayley Chapman

Hayley Chapman, 38, of Midland, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2022.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at The Branch at Nalley-Pickle & Welch. Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 15, 2022 at 1:00PM at True-Lite Christian Fellowship with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Midland.
Hayley Ann Chapman was born in Midland, Texas on January 30, 1984 to her beloved parents, David and Pam Corbett. She welcomed her lifelong best friend and baby sister, McKensy, in 1988. Hayley spent her childhood in the outdoors riding horses, showing and raising animals through the 4-H, playing softball and spending summers with her family and cousins Kasey McCain Ivanhoe, Thomas McElroy and Cody McCain at her Nana’s house. Hayley graduated from Lee High school and continued her education at Midland College and the University of the Permian Basin.
In 2007, Hayley married her high school sweetheart, Josh Chapman. Together, they welcomed three beautiful children, Cooper, Whitley and Sawyer. Hayley and Josh decided to move to Elbow, TX in 2019 to live a more simple and authentic life that would allow them to fulfill both of their lifelong dreams, running a livestock company. In just a few short years, they had accomplished those dreams when 5C Livestock Company came to life with Josh by her side. 5C kept Hayley busy with raising commercial and show boar goats, show sheep and raising cattle. Hayley was very excited about their latest venture being performance horses. Hayley loved being with her children and taking them to stock shows all over Texas and play dates/rodeos.
Along with serving her family, Hayley served on numerous nonprofit boards and chaired events within the organizations she served. Hayley was a member of the Junior League of Midland, PTA, The Boys and Girls Club, American Cancer Society and the Howard County Youth Horseman Club.
Hayley’s compassion and love for people was tireless; she loved fiercely. She was the greatest wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and dear friend to many and anyone that had the pleasure of meeting her. Whether at the barn or on road to livestock events on a Sunday, that never stopped Hayley’s faith. She was a strong believer in Christ, often found pouring into the word of God. In addition to her love for God, family, animals and serving others, Hayley was a true friend. She always said that her barn was open to any kid that needed a start and looked forward to co-hosting a children’s learning horse camp this coming summer. Hayley has left a beautiful legacy, and has inspired so many to live a Godly and full life.
