Operating hours for the city landfill are changing in conjunction with this weekend’s shift to Daylight Savings Time.Beginning Monday, the landfill will be open for an additional hour each evening, from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday.The landfill will also now be open from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. every Saturday, instead of 8 a.m. until noon.The hours will remain in effect until the next Daylight Savings time change happens Nov. 6.
