Canceled last year and postponed this year due to COVID, Lamesa’s big annual pancake supper is coming up next weekend.The event is scheduled from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. next Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Lamesa High School cafeteria.This will be the 70th year for the pancake supper, which was hosted by the Lamesa Kiwanis Club for 69 straight years before being cancelled last year due to COVID.The hosting organization now has a new name this year, however, but it’s basically the same organization and the same event as it has been in the past.The event now is being hosted by ...
