When JoAnna Vasquez and her elderly mother walked into their home after the June 26 storm last year, they found water everywhere. The heavy rains caused the Boys and Girls Club Lake to overflow from across the street into their home and several others on N. Main Street.“It was pretty bad,” Vasquez said. “The water was up to my waist. The refrigerator was floating in the kitchen. Our beds were just covered in water.”Vasquez and her widowed mother had to live separately with relatives until they could rent a home.Their next door neighbor’s wooden home also sustained heavy roof damage,
