With most of last year’s softball squad, which went four rounds deep in the Class 3A state playoffs, back at it this year, about the only two noticeable differences is all of the work being done at Joe Spikes Field as well as the first game on their schedule.The Golden Tors were originally scheduled to open up their 2022 season Tuesday night at Seminole but that game has been pushed up a night to Monday.Now in her 14th season as the Golden Tors’ head softball coach Vanessa Hernandez likes what she’s seeing in the early going.“So far, it’s going great!
