    A Catholic funeral mass of Christian burial will be celebrated for Federico Soto Guerra, Jr. (Freddy), age 68, of Lamesa, TX., at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church with Father John Steven Rathinam officiating. 
    Burial committal will follow to the Dawson County Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home. 
    Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 9,2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home with a Rosary prayer service staring at 7:00 p.m.
    Freddy passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022 in Lamesa. 
    He was born on February 8, 1953 in Edinburg, TX. Freddy married Darlene Dalia Morales on December 24, 1970 in Lamesa, TX.
    Freddy was preceded in death by his wife, Darlene Dalia Morales Guerra; his parents, Federico Guerra, Sr., and Eloisa Soto Guerra.
    Freddy loved to B-B-Q. He was a Catholic and attended St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching TV Wrestling. Freddy was the owner and operator of his own business, Guerra’s Trucking. He had a passion for truck driving.
    Freddy is survived by his son, Freddie Guerra and wife Mary Jane Parraz Guerra, his daughter, Debbie Guerra Gonzales and husband Emiliano Gonzales III; and his granddaughter, Emiliana Dalia Gonzales, all of Lamesa, TX.; numerous relatives and friends.
