Due to a shortage of players, the Dawson Dragon boys basketball season was cut short. The future of that program, however, looks bright.The Dragons hosted a junior high basketball tournament last Thursday and Saturday at Welch. Dawson’s boys won all three of their games to keep the tournament crown at home.The Dragon opened the tournament by thumping Southland, 33-21. Jordan Antu had 17 points while Roman Trevino had seven to lead the Dragons.Dawson’s boys blew out Ropes, 42-12, in their second game.
