Tobie McCormick

    Graveside service for Tobie Lee McCormick, 50, of Lamesa, will be held Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Medley officiating at Dawson County Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Tobie passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 in Lamesa. 
    She was born October 5, 1971 in Lamesa, TX. to Elmer and Judy (McGregor) Walton. She worked for the Dawson County District Clerk office for many years.  She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart.  She also enjoyed loving on her dogs and going fishing.
    Tobie is survived by her husband, Jim McCormick of Lamesa; son, Tad McCormick and wife, Angi  and daughter, Tessa Arguelles and husband, Ramon all of Lamesa; parents, Elmer and Judy  Walton; sister, Paula Weatherman and husband, John of Lamesa; mother-in-law, Lynette McCormick of Lamesa; sister-in-law, Lyndsey Staples and husband, John  and their children, Jason and Abby; grandchildren, Krystey McCormick, Jaymey McCormick and Matteo Arguelles; nephew, Jake Weatherman and his wife, Tiffany and their children, Ira and Imri; niece, Sera Weatherman and fiancée, Cody Fussell; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. 
    She is preceded in death by Loran McCormick and Lola Mae McGregor
