Isabel Salinas

    Isabel Salinas, 45, of Lamesa, passed away on January 1, 2022 in Lubbock, TX. 
    Visitation will be held Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home Chapel. 
    She was born July 17, 1976 in Lamesa, TX. to Roberto Perez and Josefa V. Villegas but was raised by her mother, Josefa, and stepfather, Jose Manuel Gutierrez, whom she called “Dad.”
    Isabel…to know her was to love her. She was so full of life and a very loving person who loved to travel and experience the world. She also loved to play Bingo and eat her sunflower seeds.
Isabel adored her grandchildren…they were her world. She loved spending time with her family, especially the numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved tremendously.
    Isabel is survived by her sisters, Mary Ann Salinas of MI, Mary Ester Plaza of Lamesa,TX., Debra Ramirez of Plainview,TX., Elizabeth Cruz of Hobbs, NM, Jessie Bardoza (Carmen), Rita Perez, Christina Rivera (Fillganio), Roberta Perez, Paula Perez (Cris Cardona), Annie Ulloa (Rumaldo) all of Lewisville, TX.; brothers, Ricky Salinas (Becka) of N.M., Amando Salinas of N.M., and Jesus Gutierrez of Lamesa, TX.
    She is preceded in death by her mother, Josefa Gutierrez; and brothers, Robert Salinas, Jose Manuel Gutierrez II ”Joey” and Mario Gutierrez “Finchie”.
