Jumping up to fourth in this week’s Class 1A state girls basketball rankings, the Borden County Coyotes are now 16-6 on the year after coming home from Howard College Tuesday night with a 57-46 victory over the Christoval Cougars.“We didn’t start out this game very good. We got into foul trouble,” Borden County Coach Lindsey Schmidt said. “Finally there in the fourth quarter, our girls started playing like we needed to.”The Coyotes were down 35-31 at the end of the third quarter but outscored the Cougars, 26-11, in the fourth.
