Gloria Gonzales

    Graveside service for Gloria S. Gonzales 76, of Lamesa will be Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Dawson County Cemetery with Father Rudy Crasta officiating, under the care of Branon Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, January 3, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Gloria passed away Thursday in Lubbock, Texas surrounded by her family. Gloria put a high value on work and didn’t have a lot of free time.  She spent what free time she had fishing, shooting, or sitting on the patio visiting with friends.  
    She loved the outdoors, growing her garden, and sharing vegetables with all her friends and family.  Gloria was owner of the Fertilizer Place in Lamesa and personally walked every field in this county as a consultant. 
    She was a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church.
    Gloria is survived by her companion, Sharon Cox; close friend, Paula McCullar; sister, Rose Marie Vasquez and husband, Augie of Lubbock; nephew, Vince Vasquez and great nephew, Vance Vasquez.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Amanda Dyer
