KPET radio station in Lamesa is in the process of chancing the frequency for its FM broadcast serving the area.The station will continue broadcasting at 690 AM but is switching its FM frequency from 105.1 to 94.9.Station owner David Stewart said the change to 94.9 on the FM dial should help eliminate some of the interference that was encountered at 105.1.“We’re hoping 94.9 is a little quieter channel,” Stewart said.
