Lamesa school Superintendent Jim Knight presented school board members Thursday night with information about what the high school’s $14.6-million spectator gym will look like once it’s completed in September 2022.Work began on the project over the summer. Concrete is still being laid. Once that’s done, steel beams will then be put up.“All that’s up right now is some steel beams and a little bit of concrete,” Knight said.The board saw rendered computer drawings of the gym’s exterior and interior design.
