Juanita Gary

    Funeral service for Juanita Gary, 88, of Lamesa, will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Crestview Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Hilton officiating. Burial will follow at Dawson County Cemetery under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 
    Visitation will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home.
    Juanita passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021, in Lubbock, TX. 
    She was born June 12, 1933 in Hart Camp, Texas to James Roscoe and Ruth Francis (Smith) Wilson. She married Alvin Gary on June 8, 1956 in Levelland, TX.  They were married 57 years.
    Juanita taught Sunday school for many years at various churches and was a director-teacher at Vacation Bible School.
    Juanita is survived by her children, Pamela Brown and husband Keith of San Angelo, TX., Stephen Gary and wife Vicki of Welch,TX., David Gary of Wolfforth, Mark Gary and wife Kim of Lubbock, TX., Paula Moll and husband Rusty of Lubbock, TX., Sallie McKenzie and husband Terry of Lubbock, TX., and Paul Gary and wife Rebekah of South Korea; 22 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; sisters, Jean Winn and Mary Nix.
    She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Alvin Gary; daughter Peggy Horner; daughter in law Pam Gary; grandson Cade Gary; and sister Francis Long.
