SNYDER – The women of the Cogdell Memorial Hospital Auxiliary recently presented the hospital with six new wheelchairs. Auxiliary members can be found helping throughout the hospital and recognized by the bright pink smocks they wear.Pink is a way of life for these hard-working volunteers.They take care of the gift shop that provides patients and their families with necessities for long-term stays or gifts to bring cheer to those who need it.Kathleen Baker, auxiliary president, noticed a need for more wheelchairs.“Some patients must go way across to the other side of the hospital and most patients cannot walk that far,”
