SNYDER – The Scurry County Museum is working on a new way to highlight local veterans for Veterans Day.“We are doing oral history interviews to document service members’ time and making an archive available to the public that will be an audio and visual of the interviews,” Scurry County Museum Director Tessa Holladay said.The mixed media project will feature stories, pictures and video of first-hand accounts of service members. Holladay said documenting the stories is important for their preservation.She said she wanted to start this project to give future generations a chance to hear the histories.– From the Snyder News ...
