Friends of Lamesa residents Kyle and Laci Welcher are planning a variety of fundraising activities next Saturday, Oct. 2, to assist the Welcher family with medical and other expenses.Those activities include a sporting clay shoot, golf scramble, hold ‘em tournament, raffles and other games.“There will be food and fellowship, raffles and more to benefit the Welcher family,” organizers said in a message to the Press-Reporter.Laci Welcher was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called olfactory neuroblastoma.
