Borden County’s young Coyotes’ football team continued to experience growing pains Friday but Coach Trey Richey believes his squad made some steps in the right direction.The Coyotes fell to the Water Valley Wildcats, currently ranked second in the state in six-man Division I, by a score of 62-22 in a game which went all four quarters.“It was just good to see the way our guys compete as hard as they did out here tonight,” Richey said.“We’ve still got a ways to go as a football team but our guys played a lot better on both sides of the ball tonight.”Now ...
