Enrollment in the Lamesa school district is a little lighter than last year.At this time last year the district had 1,729 students. It now has 1,650 students.“That’s a pretty big change,” said Liz Oaks, the school’s chief financial officer.Student enrollment is at its lowest in the past decade.Enrollment numbers, along with population projections, ebb and flow every year.
