Marge Sevedge and Jordan Shofner are a step ahead of the rest of the pack after the first week of the Lamesa Press-Reporter’s annual football pick-’em contest.Sevedge and Shofner each guessed the winners in 11 of the 12 football games listed in Week 1 of the 11-week contest.Sevedge, however, picks up the $20 prize awarded to the winner of each week’s contest.
