Marilyn Jean Kizzar

    Funeral service for Marilyn Jean Kizzar, 75, of Lamesa will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2021, at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Alan Korinek officiating. 
    Interment will follow at Grace Lutheran Cemetery, Sparenburg, Texas.  
    Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home.
    Marilyn died on Friday, September 03, 2021 at Brookdale Remington Park Senior Living, Lubbock, Texas. 
    She was born on June 7, 1946 in Lamesa.  She married Harril Kizzar on November 1, 1990 at Grace Lutheran Church, Lamesa.  He preceded her in death on July 25,2016. They were married 25 years.  
    Marilyn was a lifelong resident of Lamesa, Texas and a devout member of Grace Lutheran Church.  Marilyn spent her life making sure that her family was safe and secure in their Christian faith.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. 
    Survivors include a son, Craig Martin of Lubbock; a daughter, Jeanette Miller and her husband, Dennis, of Midland; Patrick Kizzar and wife, Jessica, and several other loving step children and their spouses; a sister, Joyce Roberts and husband, Jerry, of Lubbock; and a brother Vernon Huse and wife, Pam; of Sparenberg; numerous nieces and nephews and numerous grandkids and great grandchildren.  
    She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gladys Huse, and a daughter, Tina Martin.
    Memorials are suggested to Grace Lutheran Church, 1002 N. 11th, Lamesa, Texas 79331.
