SNYDER – On Aug. 21, Cogdell Memorial Hospital reported that over the previous six days staff had conducted 496 COVID-19 tests with 91 being positive. The hospital reported that from Aug. 8-14, 404 tests were performed with 81 positive results. Of the positive results, 71 had not been vaccinated and were between the ages of 12-64. Hermleigh Independent School District (HISD), Ira Independent School District (IISD), Snyder Christian School, Snyder Independent School District (SISD) and Western Texas College have all released the same precautions when it comes to exposure or signs and symptoms related to COVID-19.
