Wednesday, Aug. 18 1:04 a.m. – Police received a call that a 2008 Lincoln MKX had hit a deer about 12 miles north of Lamesa on Hwy. 87. No one was injured. 5:29 a.m. – A collision involving a gray car and a semitruck was reported at the west intersection of Hwy. 180 and FM 829 west of Lamesa. Air bags had deployed, and an ambulance was requested.
