Jeremy Joel Valdez

    A Catholic funeral mass service will be celebrated for Jeremy Joel Valadez, age 34, of Montgomery, TX., and formerly of O’Donnell, TX., at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, August 23, 2021 at St. Pius X Catholic Church in O’Donnell, TX. with Fr. Pasupil Philip officiating.
    Burial committal will follow to the O’Donnell Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Gonzales Funeral Home.
    Jeremy passed away on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the Houston Methodist Hospital in Shenandoah, TX. 
    He was born on September 19, 1986 in Lamesa, TX. Jeremy married Chasya Phillips on April 1, 2014 in Conroe, TX.
    Viewing and visitation will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2021 at Gonzales Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary prayer service starting at 7:00 p.m. at Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel.
    Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandmother, Geneva Valadez Garcia.
    Jeremy was employed with the DeMontrond Auto Group Dealership. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, grilling, weapons, laughing, loving life, and spending precious time with “his girls.” He loved his family, and friends fiercely.
    Jeremy is survived by his family, his wife, Chasya Phillips, and his two daughters, Madilyn Valadez age 12, and Opal Valadez age 5, all of Montgomery, TX.; his mother, JoAnn Rodriguez, and his sister, Abigail Rodriquez, both of O’Donnell, TX.; his step-father, Joe Rodriguez of Lamesa, TX.; numerous relatives and friends.
    Pallbearers: Efrin Miranda, Luis Miranda, Jovan Mendieta, Justin Martinez, Steven Perez, Matthew Morado, Jerry Castro, Daniel Rye, Anthony Freeman, Kelvin Gryder.
