The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Wednesday, Aug. 11 4:47 a.m. – An individual in the 400 block of S. Ave. F reported that two males at that location took his phone. 9:06 a.m. – A 34-year-old female was arrested in the 1600 block of N. 2nd St. on a warrant. The female was not booked into the county jail, however, as she reportedly had a doctor’s note showing she possibly has COVID. 11:25 a.m. – An employee with the Texas Department of Transportation reported a tractor hit their equipment at FM 1066 and Co. Rd.
