Dawson County Judge Foy O’Brien announced this past week that he will be seeking a third full term in that position as a candidate in the Republican Party primary next March.
“I love what I do,” O’Brien said. “I enjoy working for the citizens of Dawson County.”
O’Brien has served as county judge for just over 10 years.
He was appointed to the position by the commissioners court in May of 2013 to serve out the remainder of the term of Allen Wells, who resigned as county judge due to health reasons.
