ANDREWS – The county’s active virus case numbers continued to increase last week, and included some vaccinated residents contracting COVID-19, according to the health department director.
At the same time, vaccination figures have been on the rise over the past few weeks.
For a while, Andrews County routinely had less than five active virus cases following a stalwart vaccine campaign in which thousands of residents were vaccinated.
An Andrews County Health Department report on July 16 revealed 11 active cases. The next update about a week later showed 19.
