The cab of an 18-wheeler is wedged beneath electrical transformers and between two utility poles following a collision before 6:30 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of State Highway 137 and FM 828 south of Lamesa. The truck, carrying two canisters of sand, reportedly was heading west on FM 828 and collided with a welding truck which was going south on Hwy. 137.
