The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Thursday, July 22 10:43 a.m. – A city employee contacted police to report that a vehicle had hit and damaged a trash dumpster in the 2200 block of S. 4th St. The responding officer later reported the incident would be handled as a civil matter. 2:54 p.m. – A collision involving a blue Ford car and a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was reported in the 1900 block of Lubbock Hwy.
