The Borden County Coyotes and Klondike Cougars will kick off the upcoming football season ranked among the best six-man teams in the state: Borden County second in Division I and Klondike eighth in DII.
But they’ve both got major challenges facing them before the opening kickoff.
The Coyotes are having to replace most of last year’s 11-3 squad due to graduation, with only one starter coming back on each side of the ball.
