The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Sunday, July 4 12:17 p.m. – An accident involving a silver 2003 Lexus was reported on Hwy. 180 west of Lamesa, between Co. Rds. B and C. An ambulance was dispatched but did not transport anyone.
