The number of dogs entering the Lamesa Animal Shelter is rising and so are the costs of caring for up to 50 dogs.
That’s where Lamesa Adoptable Pets (LAP) steps in to fill the void.
“There’s more dogs to be fed and more treats to be given and toys torn up faster,” said Julie Miller, LAP president. “They go through so much so fast because there’s so many of them.”
