Ruben Dominguez

    Ruben Aguirre Dominguez, 52, of Big Spring passed away Saturday, July 3, 2021. 
    Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM with the Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Myers & Smith Chapel located at 301 East 24th Street. 
    Funeral Mass will be Thursday at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church located 1009 Hearn St, Big Spring, TX with burial at Mount Olive Memorial Park.
    Ruben was born August 25, 1968, in Escondido, California to Servando and Lupe Dominguez. He grew up in Lamesa and moved to Big Spring in 1985. He worked at K. C. Steak House for over 30 years. He was a Catholic.
    Cooking was his passion both professionally and for family and friends. He was also an avid Chargers fan. Ruben was a gentle soul & definitely one of kind, and he will truly be missed by everyone.
    Ruben is survived by his wife of 34 years: Rose Dominguez of Big Spring; three children: Rene Dominguez of Big Spring, Rebecca Dominguez and Eddy of Big Spring, and Valerie Dominguez of Big Spring; one grandson: Maddox Guzman of Big Spring; mother: Lupe Dominguez of Lamesa; five brothers: Servando and his wife Melissa of Corpus Christi, Raul and his wife Belinda of Corpus Christi, Rudy and his wife Patricia of Corpus Christi, Juan of Lamesa, and Eric and his wife Wendy of Snyder; and two sisters: Melissa of Lamesa and Cindy Vela and her husband Andrew of Lamesa.
    In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one brother: Ramsey.
