After a request from the City of Lamesa was approved by the State Operations Center, a special jobs crew from the Texas Department of Transportation’s (TxDOT) Lubbock District began assisting with removing tree limbs and other debris from Lamesa streets. The Tx-DOT crew included 18 personnel, three loaders, three Bobcat loaders with grips, four dump trucks, three haul trucks and fi ve pickups.
