Volunteers with a statewide Baptist organization began serving free meals to local residents Tuesday morning from an emergency relief trailer parked at Second Baptist Church in Lamesa. Southern Baptists of Texas Convention Disaster Relief was providing free morning and evening meals to anyone who needs them, said volunteer Ronnie Roark. Ronnie and his wife Connie brought the bright yellow trailer to Lamesa from San Antonio, arriving here Monday evening.
