County Judge Foy O’Brien said members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court are faced with a choice as they develop the county’s budget for 2022.
“Should there be massive (spending) cuts made or should we use money that’s been put back for situations like this – or a combination of both?” O’Brien said Tuesday.
That comment came Tuesday afternoon as the commissioners court held its first work session to begin the process of developing a new budget.
Although up to two hours was allotted for the work session, it ended after only about an hour of discussion.
