Tom Anderson’s team shot a 26 here Wednesday evening to win the weekly golf scramble at the Lamesa Municipal Golf Course. Other golfers on this week’s winning team were Dennis Page, Larry Whitman and Kent Bartlett. Lamesa Municipal has its weekly golf scramble every Wednesday starting at 5:30 p.m. every week. There’s a $20 registration fee for members and $25 for nonmembers. Golfers are urged to get their teams signed up by noon each Wednesday. Plans continue being made for the annual Cotton Picker Golf Tournament coming up June 26 & 27 at the city’s golf course. Registration fee is $220 per team ...
