Area churches are kicking off their Vacation Bible School (VBS) programs, beginning Monday, for elementary school age students up to the collegiate level. One local church is doing a children’s camp in July instead of Bible school. Each church determines the dates, times and age groups for their programs. Some churches require pre-registration and some don’t. Second Baptist Church The Second Baptist Church at 1705 N. Bryan Ave. begins its VBS classes from 9 a.m. until noon, Monday through Wednesday.
