Richard Flores

    Funeral Mass services for Richard Yharte Flores, age 67, of Lamesa, TX. will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ozona, TX.  Burial will follow to the Lima Cemetery.
    Richard passed away on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 in Lamesa, TX. 
    He was born on November 1, 1953 in Del Rio, TX. 
    Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Valentin Flores and Feliz (Felicita) Flores nee Yharte; his five brothers, Reynaldo, Mario, Alfredo, Juan, and Robert, and two half-brothers, Felix, Gelraldo; his two sisters, Evangelina, and Gloria; and the mother of his children, Rosalinda. 
    Richard was a retired cowboy. He loved watching the Dallas Cowboys football games, and the Canelo Alvarez fights.
    Richard is survived by his wife, Hortencia Reyes; two sons, Richard R. Flores, and Richard Flores, Jr.; his four daughters, Richalene, Christina, Suzanna, and Stephanie; his life partner and soulmate, Juana Valdez; his step-daughters, Valerie, Anna, and Lisa; his brother, Valentin Yharte Flores; his 12 grandchildren, and his great-grandchildren; several relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by his dearest friend, Luis Ramirez.
