Seniors Cam Diaz and Daijah Whited took top billing at Tuesday evening’s annual Lamesa High School athletic banquet. Diaz and Whited were named Lamesa High School’s Male and Female Athlete of the Year, as chosen by the coaching staff. “Both Cam and Daijah are fantastic kids. They’re both tremendous role models and they’ve both got bright futures ahead of them,” Golden Tornado Athletic Director Gregg Moreland said. Diaz was a standout in football, basketball and baseball.
